The Capitol (Latin Capitolium, Italian Campidoglio) is
the short name form of the Capitoline Hill (Capitolinus
Mons), lies between the Forum and the Campus Martius.
The Capitol represents the most fomous and highest of
the seven hills Rome was build on. the smallest classical
seven hills antique Rome. Also called the “Head of the
World” where the antique world meets the renaissance.
.: Roman Forum (Forum Romanum)
The Roman Forum (Forum Romanum) shows the former center
of the Roman world and is the heart of Rome’s Antique.
As in every city of significance to the Roman Empire the
Forum pictures the core of all political, economical,
cultural and religious activities. The first Forum built
and therefore the olderst of the ancient Roman Empire
was the Forum Romanum in Rome.
.: Colosseum
The Colosseum or Coliseum, in former ancient Roman times
also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is the largest
built of its kind in the history of Rome. With a capacity
of over 50 000 spectators it was created for the sole
purpose of cruel entertainment.The audience wanted to
see blood, christians burn alive and were eaten by the
leons. The Colosseum’s outstanding architecture
reflects the advanced building techniques the Romans had
developed at the time.
