Marco - Museum of Contemporary
Art of Rome - equipped with one permanent collection
and two recidences: the former industrial Peroni, has
planed to the beginning of the 1900's from Gustavo Giovannoni
and has partially reconverted in the main building. The
plan of completion of the work, is previewed for 2006,
and of Odille Decq and titled it’s Sensuali Territories.
The other dislocated residence in the complex of the former
Mattatoio of Testaccio has been realized to the end of
the 1800's from Gioacchino Ersoch.

Guided tour: the exhibitions
The tour accompanies the visitor in the fruition of the
three exhibitions that are carried out at the same time
in the museum, dedicated to Tom Wesselman between the
greatest representatives of POP figuration, to the Chilean
artist Alfredo Jaar and the Italian Stefania Galegati.
Meeting point: near the ticket office of the Museum.
from July to September: all Saturdays and Sundays at 11.00
and 12.00, all tuesdays and thursdays at 16.00.
in August: the 2nd and 4th august at 16.00, and the 6th
and 7th august at 11.00 and 12.00.
Guided tour: the collection
The tour crosses half a century of history, from the Sixties
until today, told by the artists through some works of
the collection set up in the basements of the museum.
Meeting point: near the ticket office of the Museum.
Each first Wednesday of the month at 16.00
